MEET THE FOUNDERS
Jake & Alissa
Jake Jones (Chief Flow Officer) and Alissa Stachelek (Chief Fun Officer) founded Spread The Flow to build something more than an event company — a community where people discover movement, expression, and connection through the ancient art of fire and flow.
What started as a passion for flow arts has grown into a weekly presence across South Florida's kava bar scene and a professional entertainment brand trusted by venues and event organizers throughout the region.
THE ART
What Are Flow Arts?
Flow arts are movement-based practices using props — spinning, tossing, and manipulating objects in rhythmic patterns. It's part dance, part meditation, part visual art.
Poi
Weighted balls on strings, spun in circular patterns to create trails of light and fire.
Hoop
LED and fire hoops manipulated on and off the body in fluid, mesmerizing movement.
Staff
A contact staff spun around the body — one of the most visually dramatic flow props.
Live Music
Every performance is accompanied by live DJs and curated soundscapes that drive the energy.
